Finally… I bought an iMac

The Windows 7 ‘technical beta’ has been a hugely frustrating experience for many people, especially myself. Microsoft turned the entire thing into a bug hunt and have been criticised from almost everyone. At least Apple, who always run secret betas, are open and honest about being secret (if that’s not a contradiction in terms).
Anyway, what with changing jobs last week and getting a very healthy pay rise with it, I found myself, oddly, eyeing up the new iMacs that Apple launched last week and (sigh!) I’ve finally taken the plunge and bought one to use as my main PC… sorry, computer. I’ve opted for the powerful iMac AF model.
It’s a good one though it’s eaten heavily into my savings, but new job, new treat.
I’ve not had a great deal of experience with Macs in the past so I’m coming into it very much as a novice, which is quite exciting!
Anyway, here begins a brave new era for me… wish me luck!
