This has nothing to do with smileys and winking at people randomly in the street!  This is a useful little tool for recovering your Windows or Microsoft Office product key if you happen to lose it.

Just download and run this little utility, it doesn’t even need to install, and it’ll tell you the product keys you will need should you have to reinstall Windows or Office.  You should always have a copy of these written down and kept safely with your install discs.

It works with every version of Windows going back to Windows 98 and every version of Office.  It’s regularly updated, at the time of writing they’re trying to sort out a bug related to getting your Office 2007 key but I’m sure that won’t take them long.  You can download it here.
